"Metropolis" the animated movie was released theatrically in Japan in June, 2001. The Rintaro (X, Astro Boy) directed film's screenplay was written by Katsuhiro Otomo, based on the story by the legendary anime/manga creator Osamu Tezuka. This CD contains 4 songs from the movie performed by the brilliant singer named Minako "Mooki" Obata.
