Description
A live action film based on the Akutagawa Prize winning novel "Kueki Ressha (The Drudgery Train)" written by Kenta Nishimura comes out on DVD. Directed by Nobuhiro Yamashita. Stars Mirai Moriyama, Kengo Kora, and Atsuko Maeda (ex-AKB48)! Plot: A 19-year-old day labor, Kanta Kitamachi is only hooked on alcohol and playing at sex trade shop. He has never had friends after he graduated from a junior high school, but one day, he meets a student of technical school, Kusakabe at work, and the two becomes something like friends. He also develops feelings for Yasuko, who works in a used bookstore, and becomes friend with her by the help of Kusakabe. However, Kitamachi's feeling of inferiority soon threatens their friendship. . . Comes with a bonus DVD with making-of, event footage, interview with the director and main casts. Also includes a booklet and an outer case.
