Description
DVD release of the film "Shokudo Katatsumuri" starring Kou Shibazaki. Directed by Mai Tominaga. A 25-year-old woman Rinko falls in love with a man from India and lives with him, but one day, she comes home after work and finds him gone along with all the furniture. She is shocked and loses her voice. She decides to return to her hometown where she left at 15 after repeated arguments with her mother. She opens a small restaurant named Shokudo Katatsumuri there. This restaurant has no set menu. Rinko makes individual dishes just for a pair of customers a day. And somehow, a rumor has circulated. "If you have a meal at Shokudo Katatsumuri, your wish is fulfilled." However, Rinko is told that her mother has cancer. . .
