Description
Based on the novel by Terry McMillan. Wesley Snipes stars as Franklin Swift, who meets a Manhattan school music teacher named Zora Banks (Sanaa Lathan) who aspires to become a successful singer. Zora is trying to recover from a heartbreak, and they fall in love, but when Zora gets a chance to make her debut as a singer, Franklin loses his job and comes clean about something he's been hiding from her...
