Description
[Machine Translation] From Klan Aileen to Zamboa. The music of the "Unnatural Form" is now in full bloom! Klan Aileen, a two-piece rock band based in Tokyo, has changed their name to Zamboa and is releasing their fourth album on their own label, Jolt! This is the most mysterious and ferocious album in their discography. The album is the result of an extraordinary production process that involved bringing recording equipment to all rehearsals over a five-year period from 2019 to 2024 and "recording everything," including sound checks. The highly transparent vocals and dark melodies are combined with a unique beat that is neither rock nor jazz, somewhere between a Japanese folk song and a backbeat, to create "spiritual dance music". The "relaxed touch", "boldness", and "unplannedness" captured in this work will bloom under the name of "music of 'unformed'" as a foreign object or mystery thrown into the world of modern rock music, which is becoming more and more anonymous and sterile with the development of technology. The album was recorded and mixed by Ryo Shibuya, Vo/Gt, and mastered by Yui Kimishima of Swallow Studio.
