[Machine Translation] Shigeki Ikemoto's large ensemble isles, a group of up-and-coming musicians who are leading the contemporary jazz world, makes its debut! Aiming to create a band that expresses the pressure of a big band and the interplay of a combo, Ikemoto himself called on players he had been fascinated by during his performance activities, and rehearsed every three months for a year. Although Ikemoto began writing and arranging music only two years ago, he has a great deal of experience in analyzing numerous scores. The sound is a fusion of catchy melody lines and beautiful sense of harmony, along with exquisite ensemble and groove, and is vividly connected to the contemporary scene. The free solos of each member, including Tomoaki Baba, who also played saxophone in "Blue Giants," and Mirai Hirose, also brought out the charm of the band.
