Description
DVD boxed set containing nine of Charles Chaplin's classics. On sale on November 11 which is the anniversary of the death of Japan's respected film critic, Nagaharu Yodogawa. Mr. Yodogawa was sort of like Japan's Siskel & Ebert (a half of which has now passed away too) known for his wit and highly intelligent (and often ruthless) way of analyzing movies, which are qualities very rare for Japanese critics. The Chaplin-Yodogawa connection came from his various encounters with the legendary comedic actor/director during his life time which he often talked about and wrote about as his most pleasant experiences.
