[Machine Translation] Glasgow's treasured post-rock band Mogwai has completed a soundtrack inspired by their visit to Hiroshima! This compilation is a reworking of the soundtrack to Atomic: Living In Dread and Promise, a documentary directed by Mark Cousins that aired on the BBC in August 2015. Atomic is a film about our fear of nuclear weapons, protest marches, the Cold War, the threat of military force, Chernobyl and Fukushima, and the sublimation of the atomic world. Atomic" is a kaleidoscopic work interspersed with the sublime beauty of the atomic world and how X-rays and MRI scans have played a major role in improving human life.
