Description
[Machine Translation] Love or madness? A series of beloved masterpieces are set in motion 100 years later to reveal the truth behind the artist's death. This is the world's first experiential art suspense film composed entirely of moving oil paintings. Nominated for the 90th Academy Awards ( R ) for Best Animated Feature Film and other major film awards. --Armand Roulin, a young man living in lethargy, receives a letter from his father, Joseph Roulin, a postman. It was written by his father's close friend, Vincent van Gogh, a Dutch painter who committed suicide about a year ago, to his younger brother, Theo, but had forgotten to send it. He asked me to find Theo, who was supposed to be living in Paris, and deliver the letter to him. Armand grants his wish and leaves for Paris. Unable to find Theo, he visits old Tanguy, an art dealer, and there he is told a surprising fact. Theo was devastated by his brother's death, and six months later, he died as if following him, asking himself why. A booklet of over 50 pages is included in the book (planned).
