Description
[Machine Translation] [The film is a historical spectacle starring Charlton Heston as El Cid, one of the greatest Spanish heroes of all time, who is also one of Hollywood's most famous actors. --In the 11th century, Spain is under the threat of invasion by the Muslim Moors. El Cid ( C. Heston ), a young brave general, saves a village from being attacked by the Moors on his way to a wedding with his girlfriend Simene ( S. Lauren ). Desiring peace, he releases his enemies from captivity, but this leads to a violent religious war and a struggle for the throne, and he finds himself at the mercy of a tumultuous destiny. El Cid, once exiled and in exile, stands up for his country, his people, and peace in the face of an attack by Moorish leader Ben Yousaf ( H. Rom ) that threatens the very existence of his nation.
