Hatsue (Sayuri Yoshinaga) and her friends are trying to bring an octopus fishing boat back to the beach in the cold winter, but with the help of a young fisherman, Shinji (Mitsuo Hamada), they are able to salvage the boat. That night, on their way home, Hatsue loses her paycheck and comes to the beach to look for it, and Shinji smilingly tells her, "I delivered it to your house. Hatsue and Shinji's relationship naturally grew closer in the wild nature of Ise Bay.
