Description

While the people were suffering from famine, Iniji Tanuma, an old man, was enjoying his prosperity. Yataro of the sea was hiding in Edo with his daughter, Omiya, for a certain purpose. Omiya loved dogs so much that she was called "Inu-hime-sama" (Princess Inu). On the night of Omiya's wedding, Yataro was slain by someone and his treasured dish "Zangetsumaru" was also stolen. Since the groom, Seijiro, disappeared, it was assumed that he was the murderer. The secret of the plate is gradually revealed when Fuminosuke Toge, a.k.a. Seijiro, is robbed of "Zangetsumaru" by Segi and his gang under Tanuma, and the plate is presented to Tanuma. Zangetsumaru was a pair of plates, one for a married couple and the other for a married couple, that revealed the location of a gold mine in the Ezo region.
