¡Isato Nakagawa
Description
[Machine Translation] Isato Nakagawa, former guitarist of "Five Red Balloons", released his first solo album in 1973. The recording was done at the home studio of Hack, a resident of Osaka. This is a masterpiece full of the relaxed, homemade atmosphere that only home recording can provide. The album is full of great songs that reaffirm the appeal of Isato Nakagawa, not only as a guitarist but also as a singer-songwriter. His serene and gentle singing voice and his quiet acoustic guitar are superb. Backing him up are Ritsu Murakami, Mitsuo Nagai, Koichi Matsuda, and others, in addition to Takashi Nishioka, who also serves as director. The album also includes "Sono Ki ni Narenara (If I Feel Like It)," a prototype for the famous song "Tea Time," which is performed again on his substantial solo debut album, "Machi no Umi (Sea in the City)," a home recording filled with playfulness and experimentation, "Hear Hello, Mr. Tomobe," a song sung to his friend Masato Tomobe on fiddle, banjo, and kazoo, and "Hear Me, Mr. Tomobe," an Indian-flavored psychedelic instrumental "Hear Me, Mr. Tomobe" with a pleasant sound. The long-awaited reissue in paper jacket and high-quality sound UHQCD, including the original "MUJU", a psychedelic instrumental number with an Indian flavor, and 9 rare URC sound sources (including previously unreleased live recordings)!
