Description
Blu-ray release of live-action film "Assault Girls" directed by Mamoru Oshii and stars Meisa Kuroki, Rinko Kikuchi and Hinako Saeki. The story is set in a virtual space called Avalon. The players come to an area called Desert 22, where giant monsters named Sunakujira roam, and wage war against the monsters. All of a sudden, the last boss Madara Sunakujira appears and they decide to form a party and throw down the gauntlet against it. Includes 4-page instruction manual. Special collector's edition includes a bonus disc featuring making-of, press conference, interviews with the casts, Q&A, short version of "Assault Girl" and "Assault Girl2." Also includes a 92-page storyboard script written by Mamoru Oshii, and 16-page color instruction manual.. *The DVD disc is encoded for region 2 (Japan, Europe, and Middle East), and no subtitles are included.
