Description

A man playing piano on a reclaimed land, a female teacher at an elementary school, a pachinko prize buyer, a middle-aged Waseda alumnus, an oden shop owner.... A bicycle ridden by Tamori and a young girl travels through the dry Japanese landscape shot by director Shinpei Asai himself. This film is also known as "Film Poems" (by Nagaharu Yodogawa) and "Postcards of the Wind" (by Saburo Kawamoto). The film was newly mastered using low contrast positives from a new print, and newly HD telecine-ed under the supervision of director Shinpei Asai, who was also in charge of cinematography. First DVD release!
