Animated sci-fi theatrical movie based on a manga by Masamune Shirow of "Ghost in the Shell" fame. The show premiered in April 2004 in Japan. The bonus disc contains a behind-the-scenes documentary on the making of the movie's special CGI effects, production design archive, music archive, trailer(s), and more. Other extras include a book with storyboards & production materials interviews, character descriptions, etc (384 pages expected), and an Appleseed picture book (contains digital artworks from the film, edited and arranged by categories of architecture, mechas/hardwares, characters, and more)
