[Machine Translation] Jokes from around the world in cartoons! This is the anime version of the "Joke Encyclopedia"! From April 1, 2009 to March 31, 2010, the series is being broadcast and distributed on terrestrial TV and the Internet to rave reviews! The release of the popular animated short series based on jokes from around the world! DVDs of all 365 episodes in six volumes will be released every two months! This is the fourth volume. The jokes are also known as "bath time stories" or "bath time books" in the U.S., and are popular as books that can be enjoyed in the bathtub. In this animation, the main character "Chaladee" appears as a guide at the opening and ending of each episode, and tells a book of jokes from around the world to the mysterious animals "Chobotan" and "Bath Pig" in the bathroom and other places. This is an industry-university cooperative project in which students from the Character Design Department of Kyoto University of Art and Design are supported by professionals. CG animation director Ryuji Masuda, who also directed "Poppy the Performer," supervised the entire project. Misako Yasuda will try her hand at voice acting in Kyoto dialect for the first time! Popular fashion brand "Crystal Ball" provides visual support. Episodes 184-244 (61 episodes) are included. Episodes 187, 194, 222, 229, 241, and 242 are recorded in their original versions, which differ from the broadcast and distributed versions.
