Description
In the first movie, the battleground was a South American jungle. In this sequel, it's a concrete jungle in the city of L.A.. This time round, Danny Glover plays the tough cop who discovers that druglords and his fellow police officers are both killed systematically by someone or something. I really liked the 'bestowing of a trophy' ending. An Alien (from the 'Alien' movies) skull makes a guest appearance in the Predator's trophy shelf. Both series are from Fox, and there was even a talk of an 'Aliens vs Predators' movie, but it seems the project has been abandoned for now. WIth the right script, the project would make a great film. A proposed screenplay had human characters, but wouldn't it be interesting if the film had only non-humanoid characters? Would be perfect for an intergalactic market I think.
