Description
An action-comedy-fantasy classic from John Carpenter! Kurt Russell is brilliantly funny as the extravagantly goofy hero named Jack Burton. Think of him as a comedic version of Snake Plissken (from Carpenter/Russell's "Escape" series). Dennis Dun is way cool as his best friend. Two old-timers, Victor Wong and James Hong play the opposing sorcerors and are great fun to watch. In late '80s, I met a very handsome Chinese American actor named James Pax who, I realized later that played "Lightning (one of the 3 bad guy sorcerors)" in this movie! Kim Cattrall of "Sex and the City" fame co-stars. This special edition carries a bonus disc containing deleted scenes, alternate ending, making-of featurette, theatrical trailer(s), and more.
