¡Takako Minekawa, Ryotaro Miyasaka
Description
[Machine Translation] In June 2024, percussionist Ryotaro Miyasaka held a series of three consecutive days of concerts in Tokyo's Futari space, one of which was a duo performance with Takako Minekawa. Unlike a normal concert, this concert was held not only on the stage in front of the audience, but also in a space behind the audience, where the instruments used for both were placed. The duo played mainly with Minekawa in the front and Miyasaka in the back, but they continued to produce sounds (and sometimes voices) for about an hour per set, frequently moving back and forth between the front and the back as if they were circling around the audience. This CD contains the entire performance. For the performance, Minekawa used synthesizers, glass tubes, and greeting modules, while Miyasaka used various percussion instruments, electronics, and even a little upright piano. The work is unique in that various sounds appear in various forms and seem to continue without any connection, but it gives a sense of dynamism, as if a single story is developing with many episodes.
