Description
The manga "Dome" by Katsuhiro Otomo is a psychic action story about a mysterious death in an apartment , and is a masterpiece that can be said to be the origin of the worldwide hit "AKIRA". It was serialized four times in Futabasha's "Action Deluxe" and other magazines from 1980 to 1981, and in 1983, Futabasha published the long-awaited book, and it became the first work other than a novel to win the 4th Japan SF Grand Prize. It has had a tremendous impact not only in the manga world, but also in many other fields. Composer Kazuhiko Izu, who was an ardent fan of Otomo's work, approached Otomo himself at the time with the idea of releasing a musical version of "Dome," and this is the only work that was released.
