¡LIVE FANTASY 1967
¡Traffic

 Description
[Machine Translation] Traffic, a legendary band from the dawn of British rock, was formed in 1967 by four unique individuals: Stevie Winwood (Vo/Organ), a precocious prodigy who made his debut as a vocalist for the Spencer Davis Group at the age of 15; Dave Mason (G), who was relied upon by both Jimi Hendrix and the Stones to lead the British rock scene; Jim Capaldi; and Chris Wood. The band was formed in 1967 by four members full of individuality: Stevie Winwood (G), Dave Mason (Vo/Organ), Jim Capaldi, and Chris Wood. They left their mark on British rock at the same time as Cream and Jimi Hendrix. The live performance in this album was recorded in Sweden for radio broadcast during the making of their debut album. The band had already performed "Paper Sun," which was released as a single, and "Dear Mr. Fantasy," which was to become a major hit of the era shortly thereafter. It is a well-known story that Mick Jagger heard Traffic and hired Jimmy Miller as a producer, which led to a series of hits such as Jumpin' Jack Flash. The bluesy, psychedelic sound that is typical of Traffic is also heard on this album. The album also includes two additional live appearances on BBC broadcasts in the same year. This is from the "ROCK OFF" series by Eternal Grooves!
