¡Verdi: Il Trovatore
¡Classical V.A.

 Description
[Machine Translation] Trovatore (The Bard)" is one of the most popular Verdi operas. The story centers on Manrico, a young minstrel, Leonora, who loves him, and Count Luna, who has feelings for Leonora. Oehlen's familiar conducting and performance of this opera, which revolves around Manrico, Leonora, Count Luna, and Azucena, an old woman who holds an important key to the story, is a masterful performance. The leading role of Manrico is sung by the tenor Pretti, who made his debut in 2006 and has since been a worldwide sensation. In the third act, "Behold the terrible fire," he showed off his beautiful voice to the fullest. Shkosa's superb singing as Azucena is also a must-see. Francisco Negrin's simple direction was extremely elegant, and together with the costumes and lighting, conveyed a true human drama.
