 Description
Master filmmaker Kon Ichikawa's 2001 movie is set in Japan's Edo period, depicting a mother of a poor family whose strength nurtures and gives lifeforce to the family. The heart-warming film is dedicated to all mothers. One of its English titles is "Big Mama" (not to be confused with Big Momma's House, the Martin Lawrence film).
