Description
[Machine Translation] This is an omnibus drama based on Edogawa Rampo's original works, adapted from not only "The Spider Man", "The Walker in the Attic", "The Golden Mask", "One Dimensional Man" and other works featuring the famous detective Akechi Kogoro, but also "The Human Chair" and other works in which Akechi Kogoro did not appear. From April to September 1970, a total of 24 episodes were broadcast on Tokyo 12 Channel (now TV Tokyo), followed by two special episodes in a separate slot. The regulars included Shunsuke Taki, who was active in "Jiyu Gekijo" at the time, Goichi Yamada, Masumi Tachibana, Yusuke Okada, and Satoshi Yamamura, as well as unique guests such as Juzo Itami, Yumiko Nogawa, Frankie Sakai, and Akira Nishimura. The unique drama, which drew much attention for its aesthetic depiction of the Rampo world of mystery, fantasy, and the bizarre, has finally been made available in full for the first time on DVD.
