Description
DVD release of TV special "Chocho-San - Saigo no Bushi no Musume -" based on the opera "Madama Butterfly." Stars Aoi Miyazaki. Plot: At the beginning of the Meiji era, Chocho is a daughter of the samurai-class family in Saga domain. However, her parents suddenly pass away and her adopted mother also died. Chocho starts training as an apprentice geisha, and meets the second lieutenant of the United States Navy, Franklin. The two drawn to each other, and she decides to get married, however. . .
