Description
Directed by Hideyuki Hirayama ("School for Ghosts," "Out"), the Samurai action fantasy is based on a novel by Futaro Yamada. Slaughtered by the forces of Tokugawa Shogunate in the bloody Shimabara revolt of 1638 with his followers, Christian leader Amakusa Shiro (Yosuke Kubozuka) has been resurrected back to life in order to depose the despised Shogun.
