The cast has been completely renewed, with Watako Hamaki as Kougetsu Nun, a nun who stabs opponents in the neck with a sharply cut branch; Toshio Kurosawa as Genhachiro Hotta, a coward who wields a sword with great skill; Yutaka Mizutani as Tomekichi, a temple man who drives a toothpick into an opponent's forehead; and Shingo Yamashiro as Heishichi, a prison guard who snaps the neck of his opponent with his monstrous strength.
