Description
The last chapter of the trilogy set in Hokkaido and starring Sayuri Yoshinaga following "Year One in the North" and "A Chorus of Angels" comes out on DVD. Directed by Yojiro Takita of "Departures." Plot: In August 1945 the Soviet military are approaching Sakhalin. Tetsu runs away from Sakhalin with her two songs to Abashiri. Then time passed to 1971, Tetsu's second son, Shujiro have made a huge success in U.S. and returns to Abashiri to visit Tetsu. Shujiro makes up his mind to live with his mother, however...
