Description
DVD release from the film "Hayabusa Harukanaru Kikan" depicting an unmanned spacecraft named Hayabusa and people supporting this spacecraft. Stars Ken Watanabe.Directed by Tomoyuki Takemoto. Plot: On June 13, 2010, an unmanned spacecraft Hayabusa, launched by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) in 2003, returned from an asteroid named Itokawa. It accompliched to collect samples from the asteroid, and it was the world's first exploit. The story depicts how the members of this project counter problems with big pressure and deal with them for seven years. Comes with a bonus disc with making-of, set guide, documentary on the main cast, Ken Watanabe, interview with cast & staff, event footage, TV spot, promotional footage, poster gallery, rare footage, and more. Also includes an illustration collection & stand, thermal control polyimide film used in Hayabusa, and a "Hayabusa 2" paper craft (subject to change).
