[Machine Translation] Seventh's 1977 album "Atarq" by French progressive rock band Magma has been remastered and reissued in digipak for 2005. This is the first remastering by Seventh himself, although several remasters by third parties have been released in the past. Since it was produced with a different compositional concept from his previous works, the so-called darkness on the surface is diminished, and the Motown/funk color that has been flowing in the base of Magma from the beginning to the present is most apparent on this album. Due to the limited production time, Christian Vande (dr/vo) replaced Klaus Blaskis (vo) as lead vocalist for the first time, and his tremendous vocalization and obsessive, rapid drumming give this album its unique color. With many familiar melodies, this is a perfect introduction to Magma!
