[Machine Translation] Three and a half years after her last album, Be the Cowboy, which catapulted her to indie stardom, Mitski's sixth album is now complete. The majority of the songs on this album were written in 2018 or earlier, and mixing for the album was not completed until May 2021. This was the first time Mitsuki had spent such a long time working on an album, and the album was completed at a time when the world was in the midst of experiencing cataclysmic change. While living in isolation, Mitsuki recorded the album with her longtime producer, Patrick Hyland.
