Description
This is what happens when Oliver Stone and Quentin Tarantino team up. This fascinating film directed by Stone, based on the story by the Q-Man, follows the misadventures of Mickey and Mallory, psychotic serial killers "extraordinaires". It's about the legend they create by leaving one person alive at the scene of each of their slaughters, and about the reporter who follows them, but it's mostly about the media who capitalizes on their fame and make them out to be legendary folk heroes any one of the Ally McBeal cast would envy, and about us the average Joes and Janes who would blindly and numbly follow their "TV" adventures. Case in point: A teenager in the film declares when interviewed, "Mass murder is wrong. But if I were a mass murderer, I'd be Mickey and Mallory!"
