Description
"It" was the first successful Stephen King based mini series (TV movie) since "Salem's Lot" which preceded by a decade. Directed by Tommy Lee Wallace ("Halloween III: Season of the Witch" "Fright Night Part II", the movie works like a unique blend of elements from "The Shining" and "Stand By Me." Its excellent cast includes magician-comedian-actor Harry Anderson, Richard "John-Boy" Thomas, Dennis Christopher, Richard Masur, Annette O'Toole, John Ritter, (and as teenagers) Jonathan Brandis ("SeaQuest DSV" "Hart's War"), Seth Green (Scott Evil from "Austin Powers"), and Emily Perkins (brilliant in "Ginger Snaps").
