 Description
[Machine Translation] The first album, which catches all rock fantasies, is now completed. Tsubakiya Quartet has completed its first album. The name of the album is "Crimson Portrait". The theme of this album is "accepting all rock fantasies". Their debut album, "Tsubakiya Quartet" (released on August 27 last year), was a sensational hit with radical rock fans for its initial impulse, sharp-edged sound, and above all, their unique worldview filled with "flower" and "poison". Tsubakiya Quartet was able to thrust its first sword into the world with a sharp edge. After that, with the rapidly changing circumstances around them, the expectations of the public rising day by day, and the enormous number of events they appeared in, as well as their first national tour, their musicality became a more essential part of their destiny, as they began to move through the gears of fate. With their musicality getting closer and closer to the core of their essence, they finally arrived at a proposition in this album, which was completed after an interval of about half a year since the last album. That is to "accept all rock fantasies" as mentioned above. In other words, it is our determination to embrace all the different ways in which rock music is imagined by a hundred different people. As the fragmentation of the music scene accelerates in the 2000s, what we still desire is "a big flow that involves many people" and "a dream that transports a large audience to an extraordinary place in an instant"-this is the true power of music. This is the true power of Ongaku. And that is the ultimate goal of the Tsubakiya Quartet. To achieve this goal, the quartet has taken on the challenge of overcoming all obstacles with their determination and resolve in this new work, "Crimson Portrait". As if to symbolize the title of the album, Tsubakiya's style of "royal road rock" is a straightforward look with no falsehoods and a sound that is right in the middle of the road. With this album, Tsubakiya Quartet finally dances into the mainstream. Tsubakiya Quartet is a trio consisting of Yuji Nakata (vocals, guitar), Takaki Nagata (bass), and Ryota Kodera (drums), formed in Sendai in 2000, and moved to Tokyo the following year. On August 27, 2003, they debuted with their first mini album "Tsubakiya Shijyutsu". The initial impulse and sharp-edged sound that pervades the entire album
