 Description
[Machine Translation] A year has passed since their last album, which featured a vocalist for every song. MOP of HEAD's new album, "Aspiration", is now complete, removing the image of an instrumental human-powered dance music band in pursuit of "music you can dance to". The new album features guest vocals on "dear sadbig laugher," which was co-written with UCARY & THE VALENTINE and is reminiscent of new rave, and "Good Time," a MOP of HEAD-style R&B song featuring up-and-coming singer-songwriter Taichi Mukai. The instrumental tracks include "Galactic," "Dreaming," "Acid Pilot," and "Prism," all of which can be danced to, with MOP of HEAD's interpretation of techno, electro, rock, house, and various other types of dance music. The release tour is a lot of fun, and we are looking forward to the live performance of the songs. The lead track, "dear sad big laugher Feat. UCARY & THE VALENTINE," was co-written with the band, and the result is a new chemical reaction reminiscent of new rave, anticipating the "fusion of dance and rock" movement that comes around every 10 years. The band's style of dance music has grown to include breakbeats, dubstep, drum'n'bass, house, and more. They have been featured in Tower Records' very popular campaign ("Odoru Rock") and have performed at various festivals such as ( FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ) ( SYNCHRONICITY ) ( COUNTDOWN JAPAN ) while attracting attention from the dance-rock scene. Popular DJs such as Gilles Peterson, the No.1 DJ on BBC Radio 1 in the UK, and Taku Takahashi ( m-flo ) were among the first to respond to his music, which was featured on Giles' signature program ( WORLD WIDE ) and Taku Takahashi's Internet radio ( In July 2015, MOP of HEAD released their first album in two and a half years, "Vitalize", which became a hot topic of conversation. In July 2015, they released their first album in two and a half years, "Vitalize". 201
