¡I Wanna Go To Hawaii.

 Description
[Machine Translation] Champagne] is sure to be the star of 2011, winning many festivals in 2010 and gaining extraordinary popularity by word of mouth with the nickname "Champeso". The year 2010 was a life-changing year for [Champagne] (Champaigne). Until then, we had been performing on the street, rain or shine, and had no confidence in our music. After that, they moved forward without forgetting their strong desire to definitely turn everyone around. The turning point came in 2010, with the release of their first album "Where's My Potato? The release tour final at Shimokitazawa Shelter also sold out on the same day, and the band was soon invited to participate in many events and festivals. As if to vent out everything that had been painful for the past eight years, 2010 was a year of immersing oneself in music. The band has steadily increased their attendance, become more aware of themselves as musicians, learned how to make their live performances tight and engaging, and have grown considerably as a live band. And now they have completed an album that contains everything they have experienced as [Champagne]. The title "I Wanna Go To Hawaii." sounds as meaningful as the first album, but it really doesn't matter. There is no meaning. There are no songs that make you think of Hawaii. The whole band just expressed the impulse and emotion of rock and roll with their whole heart and soul. All 12 songs on this album are of such divine quality that they could easily have been cut as singles. The catchy and memorable melodies, the exquisite sense of rhythm unleashed by the band members, Kawakami's pursuit of realism in the lyrics (which he stresses are completely meaningless), and the way he sings in both English and Japanese with his Syrian accent are still there! Everything is perfect, and I am proud to say that this is an album that will definitely remain in the history of Japanese rock music.
