¡Max Richter

 Description
[Machine Translation] The long-awaited new album by Max Richter, an originator of "post-classical" music. The album is an overwhelmingly deep and delicate beauty of silence that transports you to another dimension. This work is based on a collaboration between choreographer Wayne McGregor and contemporary artist Julian Opie, who was appointed by the Royal Ballet. The score for the ballet Infra was written in the fall of 2008 and premiered at the Royal Opera House in November. At McGregor's request, the original score for the ballet "Infra 1-8", inspired by T.S. Eliot's "The Waste Land", was added to the material ("Journey 1-5"), which was subsequently written and developed from the album's structure, for a total of 13 pieces. The dignified yet serene intellectual beauty of this string quintet of piano, electronics, violin, viola, and cello is characteristic of Max Richter.
