MUSIC FROM THE MARS has released their first new album in nine years. 19 years after their formation in 1997, the band continues to stoically create music that is truly alternative and progressive. MFTM is a long-awaited studio release. Since the early 2000s, MFTM has performed with SAKE ROCK, Kiseru, , OGRE YOU ASSHOLE, and many others. Fujii's outstanding sense of beautiful melody sublimates progressive development and complex chord progressions into pop music that does not feel like pop music, and his original style of rock, song, urban, progressive, danceable, free, and passionate music has been talked about in various fields. In recent years, they have received enthusiastic support from many young bands they have performed with, including Suchmos, skillkills, Yasei Collective, Odotte Dotte Dotte Kunitachi, Kaisoku Tokyo, and Shamcats, and always stand out as the "latest" band in the Tokyo underground scene. After participating in several omnibus albums, they released a mini album "music from the mars" from mona records in 2004. In October of the following year, he released "summery," a full-length album recorded by drummer itoken, who is active with Harpy, d.v.d., Tokumaru Shugo Band, and others. In 2007, the mini album "Living in the ZOO" produced by NATSUMEN AxSxE was released from Perfect Music. The long-awaited new album was recorded at Kitty Izu Studio with AxSxE as the engineer and mixer. In order to reproduce the sound from NEVE's home in Izu studio, mastering was done by Pete Maher (U.K.), an engineer who has worked with Jack white, Paul weller, Ny Inch Nails, U2, STORNOWAY, etc., and who has received samples from over 20 domestic and overseas studios. . The band, crew, and engineers worked hard to make this 30+ minute story a reality.
