 Description
[Machine Translation] A Japanese gospel singer who has been praised as a "crystal voice" in the churches and streets of New York City has finally released her long-awaited first full-length album! Raised in a church choir, she taught herself to play the drums, trumpet, and piano. After graduating from Kwansei Gakuin University's School of Theology, she received voice training at the Music Institute in Osaka and Los Angeles. After returning to Japan, she performed as the opening act at Festival 2001 at Osaka-jo Hall, and in November 2004, she moved to the U.S., where she performed at Japanese churches and black churches and streets around New York City under the auspices of the Harlem Gospel Missionary, and was acclaimed for her crystal voice. In May 2006, she released her self-produced CD "First Time," and appeared with a gospel choir on Nippon Television's "Ai wa Chikyu wo Suku Save the Earth" in 2008. She has also collaborated with former Dokken members George Lynch and Hironobu Kageyama in a variety of genres. She continues her activities as a singer, expanding her activities on radio and TV, and holds gospel classes throughout Japan and teaches at a music college.
