¡RABBIT-MAN
¡Yoshiharu Shiina

 Description
[Machine Translation] On June 13, 2010, at Hall A of the Tokyo International Forum, SURFACE, which had been active for 12 years, suddenly disbanded. However, Keiji Shiina did not let out any damp air at that moment and walked away with a smile, saying, "Let's meet again. Five months after the dissolution, he released a mini-album on November 10. The production period was less than two months. The intention was to create a CD that would express their gratitude to the core fans who have supported SURFACE for the past 12 years, as well as to the fans they promised at the International Forum. The most important thing for me was to hold an in-store live performance for 200 to 300 people to convey my temperature more closely to them. For this reason, we chose to sell the CD only through mail-order websites and individual stores. Seven months later, exactly one year after the sudden dissolution of the band, vocalist Keiji Shiina returns to the stage in front of everyone. This album has two themes. The first is the title, "RABBIT-MAN. As he will be the new year's man this year, RABBIT, who is not very good at loneliness, is determined to jump around in this difficult time ahead! I am very strong and determined to jump around in this difficult time ahead! The harmony of the high-tension songs from the SURFACE era and the soaking ballads has remained unchanged, even as a solo artist. If we were to compare this music to "joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure," would it be music that pursues "sorrow and pleasure"? This style of enjoying music will not change in the future. For Keiji Shiina, "Beautiful" may be the highest level of fun. Music is Beautiful. However, 20 years after his debut, Shiina may enjoy music that pursues only "anger" of "joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure". Like the previous album, this new album is produced by Hiroo Yamaguchi, bassist of 100s, and is a confident work in which the world of Keiji Shiina is in full bloom. Recording the album were Shoichi Tomomori, Kenji Fujii (ex.My Little Lover), Masahiro Machida (100s) on guitar, Toyomu Tamada (100s) and Yoshifumi Yoshida (TRICERATOPS) on drums, Simon Isogai on arrangements, and ZERO on rap, making for a lineup with a lot of individuality. The song will be featured in a tie-in with "Can't I Tell You I Love You Now? The song will be featured in the ending of the TBS national network's "Chubo-Dayo! TBS national network "Chubo-no-Date!
