[Machine Translation] MAGUMI & THE BREATHLESS, led by vocalist and trumpet player MAGUMI of LA-PPISCH, which boasts a career spanning over 30 years as a pioneer in the Japanese ska-punk scene, released their first single and album simultaneously in three years. This is the first single and album in three years released simultaneously, and is a great album with cool and stylish sound that LA-PPISCH fans should listen to. The BREATHLESS was formed as a solo acoustic unit of LA-PPISCH's vocalist MAGUMI, who has roots in the Japanese ska-punk scene, with the addition of a rhythm section. In search of new music, the group repeatedly tried out new songs, held many sessions, and added more original songs while performing live at the same time. Since "delight" was a solo project until the middle of the album, some compositions were outsourced, but finally the second album with all original songs was completed! Will they be able to hit the scene with "Demonstration" as the title of the album suggests? MAGUMI ( Vocal,Trumpet ) / Hideki Nagai ( Guitar,Chorus ) / Norikatsu Hakamatsuka ( Bass,Chorus ) / Masayoshi Kasamatsu ( Drums ) / Ryo Shimamoto ( Keyboard,Sax,Chorus ) / Seiji Naoe ( Percussion ) Three years have passed since the last 1st "delight". I started this project with the intention of making a solo album, so I invited Kyoichi Sugimoto, Seiji Kimura, and TAKUYA to compose the music, and the rest was composed by myself and other band members. I think it was a good timing to start the band. After three years of careful work as a band, we have finally completed "Demonstration," an all-original work that has been developed through live performances. We have put all of our experience and knowledge into this work. It's a bit embarrassing, as if someone is peeking inside my brain. All the songs are full of variety and probably there is no similar band out there. The puzzle in my head was finally put together with this album. I am confident that each and every piece of the band has been put together perfectly. This is just the beginning of the Demonstration of THE BREATHLESS.
