 Description
[Machine Translation] Sekaiichi" is a rock band formed in Osaka in March 2003, and made their major label debut in 2005 with the release of "Ishi Korobu" from Toys Factory. In 2010, they moved to avex, and in 2014, they launched their own label, Anaheim Records. Sekaiichi has released seven singles, three mini-albums, and seven albums, and the breadth of their musicality changes with each release. The image of Sekaiichi, which is often perceived as disparate, is now firmly bound together by Iwasaki's songs and the band's live groove, establishing "Sekaiichi" as a genre. The current album by Sekaiichi is a "danceable funk rock" album, featuring "Grave of Music" and "Walk alone" from the single "Grave of Music," which was pre-released at the venue of their one-man tour at the end of 2015, as well as 16 beats of mid-tempo music. The sharp vocals of Iwasaki, driven by the swell and speed of the mid-tempo 16 beats, recall the disco music of the 80s updated for the modern age. The coexistence of singing and beats on this album, which can only be expressed by Sekaiichi, a band with an established reputation as a live band, has resulted in a work that will make your body and mind dance.
