Description
The '90s (Heisei) Gamera trilogy is out on DVD! To the delight of creature feature fans, Gamera came into existence in the mid '60s and became Godzilla's most fearsome silver screen rival (though they never fought one another onscreen, since different studios hatched their eggs). The first Heisei Gamera movie was produced to commemorate the big turtle's 30th birthday, and he kicked the popularity-waning Teen Mutant Ninja Turtles' butts right off the scene. Now, at thirty-something and still younger than Kevin Costner, he's popular as ever with two excellent sequels under his belt (or in the library within his protective armor shell).
