Description
[Machine Translation] Isaac Haynes & Bernie Mac's last film, a black music road movie that will make you laugh and cry! --Marcus Hook & The Real Deal was a breakout chorus group in the 60's formed by three friends in Memphis. The group had many hits and became popular, but broke up when Marcus ( John Legend ) went solo. Lewis ( Samuel L. Jackson ) and Floyd ( Bernie Mac ) formed The Real Deal, but they did not become as popular as Marcus, and the group dissolved naturally. The two had a falling out and did not speak to each other for 20 years. One day, however, they received news that Marcus had died. Lewis and Floyd reunite for the first time in a long time, and begin their unusual journey to the Apollo Theater in New York City, where the concert will be held.
