Shakuhachi player Fujiwara Dozan has been actively collaborating with various artists beyond genres, pursuing the origin and originality of the shakuhachi while opening up new charms. This work is the first in a series of seasonal pieces that will be produced by Fujiwara Dozan, featuring classical pieces associated with each of the four seasons (spring, summer, fall, and winter) and each season. Japan is blessed with a climate that is unique in the world, and the four seasons are particularly vibrant, and their influence is strongly expressed in the traditional performing arts. The classical pieces that create this elegance are performed by living national treasures Yamase Shoin and Tomiyama Seikoto, who are active at the forefront of their craft, along with Kikuhara Koji and Fukami Satomi, who are also active at the forefront.
