[Machine Translation] The third installment of the three-member super-unit Kobudo, featuring shakuhachi player Fujiwara Dozan, cellist Nobuo Furukawa, and pianist Seo Takeshi, expresses Japanese sensibilities in a classical manner. Kobudo will be in charge of the opening and ending theme music for "NEWS23" on TBS from April, as well as the jingle for the program. Also, Nobuo Furukawa played the main theme (composed by Joe Hisaishi) of "Departures," which won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. This time, the theme song was remade in a kobudo version, giving birth to a new healing sound. The album also includes theme songs for TV dramas and stage performances, covers of standard tunes, and new songs by the three members, which are unique to Kobudo.
