¡Mayo Shono

 Description
[Machine Translation] City pop legend "Mayo Shono" released her first album of all new recordings in seven years, and her 14th original album in total. The album features songs about familiar scenery, adult love, friendship, universal themes and messages, and exotic songs from "Fly to Istanbul", all of which can be described as "Mayo Shono returning to her roots. The music is composed of songs produced by Mayo Shono herself, as well as songs provided by city pop legendary artists such as Mari Sugi, Hiromi Ota, and Keiko Maruyama. Sound production was done by Hiroshi Sakamoto, a composer known for providing songs to Junichi Inagaki and Kajin Yashikita, and who has worked with Mayo Shono on many musical projects over the past few years. The sound of the album is a "Light Mellow" highway, with some mature city pop and some folk-rock songs of yesteryear. The album also features guest vocalist Junichi Inagaki. The performance of "Hoshi ha Matataku", a song written by Neko Oikawa, shows the exquisite combination of the two.
