¡Bell Eccentric
¡Kato Kazuhiko
Description
[Machine Translation] Kazuhiko Kato's masterpiece solo trilogy, remastered and repriced! Belle Eccentric", the third installment of the European trilogy, was released in 1981 and recorded at Chateau Studios in Paris. The album depicts a scene of a man and a woman in Paris in the 1920s. The synthesized techno-pop elements and echoes throughout the album are not inorganic, but rather create a decadent atmosphere of European culture and the Belle Epoque era. The tenth and final track is a piano piece by Erik Satie, "Je te veux," played by Ryuichi Sakamoto. The jacket is by Kuniyoshi Kaneko, famous for his picture book "Alice in Wonderland. Together with "Papa Hemingway" and "Uta-kata no Opera," the European trilogy of solo albums with Kazumi Yasui is still listened to more than 30 years later as an eternal masterpiece. Digitally remastered by Masayoshi Okawa.
