¡Papa Hemingway
¡Kato Kazuhiko

 Description
[Machine Translation] Kazuhiko Kato's Masterpiece Solo Trilogy Remastered and Repriced! Papa Hemingway" is a concept album based on the life of Ernest Hemingway, a favorite of Kazuhiko Kato and his lyricist partner Kazumi Yasui. The album was recorded at Compass Point Studios in Nassau and Criteria Studios in Miami, both of which are places associated with the author. Recording members include Rei Obara and Yukihiro Takahashi from Sadistic Mika Band, Ryuichi Sakamoto, who also participated in the previous album "Gardinia," and Kenji Omura, a former tour support member of YMO, to which Takahashi and Sakamoto belong. The album's cutting-edge sound approach and conceptual worldview, which incorporated reggae and calypso rhythms and featured front-line artists and musicians in 1979, is still a masterpiece 35 years later. Even now, 35 years later, the album is still highly regarded as a masterpiece that has not faded. Digitally remastered by Masayoshi Okawa.
